We are a very lucky community to have a FREE Health Festival held at [a local health facilty]! Buy taking advantage of the many screening opportunities you can get early warning signs for serious medical situations. I know, I took a friend who had 'a spot' looked at...the professionals thought it needed additional tests... long story short, she is healthly today because of it! Thank you [for supporting the community]!!

Hooping For A Cure...a basketball game between the CHS students & teachers will take place on March 12. Last year they raised thousands of dollars for Relay For Life and are aiming higher this year. Our school demonstrate repeatedly how many ways generosity can be experienced.

Sue and Denny moved to Potterville for his job. Being new to the area, and wanting to "get involved", Sue volunteered for United Way. Despite physical limitations, Sue worked in our office weekly for several months. She was awesome! Sue is now housebound in the apartment, with greater health problems. She is an awesome gal who personifies the volunteer spirit right here. Sue "Lives United."

During Spirit Week this fall, the CHS students kicked off a food drive and collected food all week long. On Friday night at Homecoming, the food was given to the Ionia High School students to take back to Ionia and distribute to those in need there. Talk about Pay It Forward!! Great job Charlotte students!

Have you noticed how many acts of sharing are popping up all around town? A local restaurant is giving all the proceeds from breakfast one day a month, to various non-profits. A different organization benefits from their generosity each month.
